About the Symposium
The 1st IMR symposium was held in Shenyang on Interfacial Materials in 2004. Since then, IMR successfully held an international symposium every year on new energy materials, advanced functional materials, high temperature corrosion respectively. This symposium will focus on the materials for nuclear power plants (NPPs).
NPPs in the world have been rapidly developed since nuclear energy is clean. With the rapid construction of nuclear power plants in China, there is more challenge on manufacturing of key materials and their behaviors in NPPs. So this symposium is timely important to discussion the role and recent development of nuclear materials and their behaviors. The symposium will invite internationally known speakers from China and abroad.

Shenyang is an important city with a population of eight millions, which is located in the center of Liaoning Province. Shenyang is widely known for its rich culture and history of Qing Dynasty with the world culture heritages.
5. Language and the Length of Lecture
The official language of the symposium is English. The length of invited lectures is 25mins including 5mins for questions, the length of keynote lectures is 35 mins including 10 mins for questions.
6. Registration Fee
The full registration fee is 300 US$ per person except the invited keynote speaker , which covers welcome reception, morning and afternoon tea, all lunches and dinners during symposium, and workshop programs.

The conference organizing committee will reserve rooms for participants at the specially negotiated rate and arrange transportations to meet participants at Shenyang Airport. So please let conference secretariat know your flight information in advance. After your registration form is received, conference secretariat will send an invitation letter to you for your visa application.
